What is Controlled Open Enrollment?

Controlled open enrollment is offered at schools where enrollment is less than 90 percent of the total capacity. Such schools “close” when enrollment rises above this number. If the amount of transfer applications exceeds available space, reassignments will be made by a random lottery. Controlled Open Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year will not open until all lotteries and choice placements are complete.
